The Cibolo Nature Center was created over 30 years ago within the city limits of Boerne, TX. Recently an adjacent 600 acres was dedicated to Nature Research. The combined 700+ acres is deeded as a conservatory into perpetuity. The Nature Center is free to the use of the public, contains a preschool Nature School, and offers over 300 educational programs yearly. Over 125,000 people visit the Center yearly. The creek is a major contributor to the Edwards Aquifer.
